If there was one thing Jefferson was good at it was making something happen in the redzone.

Les seems to be lost without a mobile quarterback to save him inside the 20. That rollout call on 2nd down was almost worse than the 2 timeout jump pass.

It's been more than 3 years since he's had a QB that can't scramble to the endzone.

Are things bad enough to where we should try either wildcat plays or a mobile QB in certain spots in the redzone?

JJ had a knack for accidentally finding himself in the endzone after botched red zone plays.

It was just uncanny.

I'll quote Spencer Ware when asked about the stupid Magee jump pass call that everyone including a drunk Gary Danielson saw coming...

"We should have just punched it in there."

First, I think we need to figure out what the frick we're doing in general. You know on second thought, this offense is such a shite sandwich, I'm for trying anything.

Still can't believe we had one of the best redzone offenses in the country last year

The RZ offense was fine last year before JJ returned, though he did add a dimension when he came back. I don't think Les is lost with a RZ offense without a mobile QB. I think he is lost in the RZ with this group.

If LSU just can't outman the opponent, overpower them with talent...it isn't going to happen.

Was he?

All I remember about JJ in the red zone is that he didn't turn it over.

Oh and I also remember the Tennessee debacle when he didn't realize that the clock was clicking backwards to 0....Thank you again T-Bob.
