As much people are down on him and he hasnt shown the skills to be great, I'm not totally ready to give up on him.

RBs like Mark Ingram are a dime a dozen. NE has 3 of them all picked in the 3rd or lower. Ingram does not possess any elite talent. He should have been a 3rd or 4th rounded at best.

It isn't so much as giving up on Ingram as it is this defense needs help and Ingram isn't helping us win anything.
