Absolutely not, JJ showed no improvement from the day he arrived at LSU until the day he left.
So how much does coaching have to do with this? im just saying

It's an excellent question to which I'll reply with the old proverb... "You can bring a horse to water but you cannot make it drink."
JJ's mannerisms, post game comments and the angry-Chinaman look after every blown play gave me the impression that JJ wasnt very coachable.

All this bashing on Mett and the team is a bit absurd. WTF did you expect from an unproven QB commodity in his first SEC starts? Given the talent that left last year did you expect we would be better?
I think most of the ranters expected LSU's offense to look like West Virginia's, Mett for Heisman, and an undefeated National Championship season. They slightly overlooked the fact that it may actually take time for him to get accustomed to being the man.

coaching can only help so much when you're as erratic as Jordan was.
the guy contributed to some great and played his heart out for us for 4 yrs, and for that I'm grateful. but at his best he was just a mediocre QB.

You probably should have asked how much coaching had to do with the near loss to auburn, the debacle with towson, and now the arse kicking at florida. but there is no doubt with a little coaching up, we will be fine against the rest of our schedule, starting with south carolina.we probably would be winless with jj . and i might add, the 3rd and goal at the 6 when ware ran the ball was a really well thought play that just somehow failed.
