Just saw on espn. SIAP. He was pretty emotional about it in the interview and i can't blame him.

he's 100% right, boo a guy all you want when he is sucking. but don't cheer the fact that his health was put at risk.

he channeled his inner jim mora

Good for him for calling them out. I agree with the comment above about booing a player all you want when they're playing like shite, but cheering an injury is a BS move. Winston is one of my favorites and wish he was still in Houston.

Good for Winston. If I were him I dont think I would have the emotional control to be as PC as he was. I would have gone OFF

Pulled a Jim Mora when Steve Walsh got hurt and fans were cheering.

Am I the only one who thought he sounded, for lack of a better term, a little "faggy"? And not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not how I was expecting a huge lineman to sound.
But he is right though, and good for him for calling out his own fans for being assholes. That being said, however, every place has its assholes, and I fully expect ESPN and the other networks to annoyingly talk this subject into the fricking ground all week.

Sounded like a gay version of Big Easy off the Challenge.

he sounded like a huge, intelligent guy who was so angry that he really wanted to ram through a brick wall but had to remain civil.

he could have cut that down to 4:25 if he didn't repeat virtually every line he said ..
but hats off to him .. he was dead on right ..

Nobody was celebrating his injury. And if they were, they deserve to get their asses kicked.
Being the fan of teams where it would have taken a decapitation to get Aaron Brooks and Jordan Jefferson off the field, a lot of fans were just happy that somebody else was going to run the team. I would never wish injury on those guys, though.
But they could have waited until they were sure he was okay or when the new QB took the field.

seriously?
I think its completely obvious that they were cheering that he was hurt. Winston was very impressive. He was very thorough and wasn't oblivious to the fact that it is a choice to play the game and that fans have a right to do whatever they want.
