Alabama-Louisiana HS All Star Game in Montgomery

Louisiana’s football coaches are set to team up with Alabama for a high school football all-star game that would be played the week after Louisiana’s state finals. Montgomery, Ala., is set to be site of the game for the first two years of a three-year plan. Alabama-based Russell Athletics is among the sponsors.

Yeah...not even close. LA state championships are the first week of December. Army All American game is always a month later.

There was nobody at the Ala-Miss Allstar game last year. It was not very competitive either.

You won't get the 4-5 stars in this one. Louisiana has a ton of 3 stars that will be available though.

My understanding is that Louisiana has to put our best players on the field and L.S.U. has to agree to let their signees/commits play. Those were the two sticking points for Alabama. I think Miles has given his blessing.
