Dude, I remember one time my mom took me to a show at the Centroplex downtown, and the main event was the Ultimate Warrier vs. Andre the Giant for the Intercontinental Belt. I was SO fricking pumped...she even bought me an Ultimate Warrior t-shirt.

Anyway, the match consisted of this:

Andre is standing in the ring. Ultimate Warrior gets announced. He SPRINTS out, runs around the ring, gets in the ring, goes back and forth on the ropes several times, clotheslines Andre two or three times, then pins him and sprints out the ring and then backstage.

I was so upset. I was like "That's it??" And my mom was FURIOUS.

Over the years, I've looked for that match, and I think I found it a while back: LINK

fricking bullshite.

I forgot about Rated RKO and Pillman/Austin as a tag team. I like them.

reminds me of one of the royal rumbles where the bushwhackers entered the ring and immediately were thrown out and kept doing their patented strut

this reminds me EXACTLY of when my dad took me to uno lakefront arena to see Roddy Piper vs Rick Rude in a steel cage. Apparently Rick Rude had "car trouble" in Florida so Heenan took his place in the steel cage. It was obviously a damn joke and bullshite marketing to get people to show up

A lot of Warrior's matches were short. Isn't the match where he won the title from Honky Tonk Man like that too?
