Does anyone think there is an option package of plays for Bolden?

I mean why else bring him in and never let him see the field for anything. At least get him in on special teams or something to justify the scholly.

Folks, just cause he is black does not mean he is a running QB. He was recruited as a passing QB.

Option.... Yep, a great strategy to win championships in the modern era of college football.

Rob Bolden 4* Dual Threat QB

Incidently Krags recruited him while at Louisville.

You mean like Cam Newton or Tim Tebow?

Just like a good roux ... stir, stir, stir. That's what the Rant has become.

He runs a 4.5 according to the link. That's about 3 seconds faster in the 40 than Mettenberger.

Same shite as last year, if we are going to option, why not just run Shep at QB in a wild tiger?
Why have an QB go out there and do it for you?
And don't say he can pass, cause his stats fricking suck.

Because LSU has set the standard for quick DE's, I really think that all the QB's we recruit need to at least be MOBILE, I'm not saying Mike Vicks, but for the love of God, ZM can't get from the pocket to the line of scrimmage within 3 seconds. If and when you have the pocket collapse, you need someone who can move. Zm is NOT that type of QB and with our OL protection woes, he is in for a long season once Saturday rolls around. EVERY DL will pin their ears back and make us prove we can protect and he can make QUICK, GOOD decisions and as of right now, I don't think he can.

Both could throw it well in college.

Then just run the shotgun, let them go, and step up in front of them and throw.
The real way to solve this mess isn't mobile QBs, its throwing quick slants and outs. When they are stacking the box with 8 and blitzing, throwing quick slants/outs will spread out and open the run, and give us more time to throw the ball
