U-High's Brossette

Rumor has it that LSU has cooled on it's interest in Brossette due to his lack of speed. Anyone know if this has any truth to it? I have a cousin playing for Live Oak so I went to the game last night. He seems like a pretty strong runner at times, other times not so much. But, he does seem rather slow compared to other top RB's on the recruiting radar.

Not from what I've been told. Most expect Brossette to be a Tiger commit sooner than later(in reference to the more than 2 years he has left before signing). We're in a great spot with Brossette and as soon as the summer it could be over. If they've cooled it's only because they feel he's in the bag.

Posting rumors without any hint of a source is generally frowned upon.

I said this when he was offered. He's not very fast and he's not a very strong, power runner. He still has some years to get better, faster, and stronger though.
As I said then, I was very surprised to see him offered as I thought he wasn't even the best RB in the district last year.

LSU and Bama have a pretty good track record with RBs and both have offered him. That's all that needs to be said.

I would doubt that this is true.

Inside source at LSU says if a kid that young can run at least a 4.9 they are good because speed can be trained.

Brossette will be a Tiger IMO...Not taking a RB in this years class...

Who is this cousin you speak of?

Brossette is the most overrated player I've seen last night he ran 23 times for 150 yards a good highschool running back will rush 23 items for 240

Please.Nic is a really good football player and a great kid who deserves every scholarship offer he gets.

Uhigh has beat two 5a teams this year and Brossette has had very good games against both. 3 4th quarter touchdowns last night, 2 of which were pretty long runs
