3. 3B Mason Katz 0/3
4. LF Raph Rhymes 0/3 SO
5. RF Sean McMullen 0/1 BB HBP
6. C Ty Ross 0/2 SO
7. 1B Geonte' Jackson 1/2 R SB
8. DH Chase Rivett 0/2 2SO
9. 2B Casey Yocom 1/2
Pitching:
Ryan Eades threw two innings, gave up an unearned run, struck out one.
Aaron Nola threw two innings, struck out one, gave up no runs.
Some fella in a gray and black practice shirt threw two scoreless innings with a K.
Hunter Devall threw two innings, gave up a run and two walks, struck two out.
Taylor Burton, bless his heart, threw two innings, gave up six earned runs (including Powell's 2-run homer) and a walk.
Russell Reynolds threw two scoreless innings, struck one out and walked one.
Notes:
Too many errors
there was a dropped third strike in the first by Ty Ross, overthrew the first baseman, the runner makes it to 3rd and scores on a fielder's choice.
Katz was playing 3rd base (teh frick?) and badly misplayed a grounder.
Bregman also had an error at SS.
Geonte' Jackson had a stolen base off Chinea, but it was a cheap, dropped ball SB.
Alex Edward had a looooooooooooooooong 2-RBI double, bounced off the wall.
Tyler Moore had a laser RBI triple.
Evan Powell had a 2-run home run, scored Moore from third.

some ladies near me said he's either trying out for the team as a walk-on, or is a high schooler getting some scrimmage PT.

Thanks for the recap. I am taking my son to the camp in December. We went in the summer and he was the youngest kid there yet still impressed. It's his goal to be a student athlete for LSU playing baseball. Time will tell!

Anyone not in purple and gold is a walk on. They let 4 or 5 guys each year walk on. LSU has only 34 roster spots filled. They can add one guy to the roster, because Trent Christian was let go because of rules breaking and Joe Broussard had surgery.
