I played football and drank on the beach with Flynn, Will Arnold, and a few other players I didn't recognize the spring break before the 07 championship season.

Both we very cool btw.

Some friends and I played a game of pickup football with Eddie Kennison and some other track guys on the band practice field. It was the Sunday after an open date in either 93 or 94. We had a blast, but they totally destroyed us. I remember catching a short pass in the flat and turning to see Kennison coming in full speed with his forearms up. I know he was just a WR, and I know I weighed more than him (around 200 at the time), but knocked the crap out of me. I rolled three or four times out of bounds.

He came over while I was getting up and laughed, but was cool about it, and asked if I was ok. He did compliment me for taking the hit, and then jumping back up to keep playing before he came over to help me up.

I met him again in 1995. He happened to live in the same complex as the tenor sax guy that held their yearly toga party. He showed up at some point, and ended up judging the toga contest. My future wife actually ended up winning the girl's contest, I believe. Again, he was really cool to everyone there that came up and talked to him.
