The MSB already knows this.

it does not matter what happened in the air, as possession is not obtained by a defender until he touches the ground
Are you fricking serious? Try reading a rule book once in a while.

Sure, and U Dub pounded LSU, right?

No one is saying you're dumb because you have an opposing viewpoint
You're dumb because you're having a great deal of difficulty interpreting a pretty simple rule

By the way, to those saying you have to have more than just your hands on the ball... Tyrone Prothro of Alabama disagrees with you:
Damn, you're blind. And an idiot.
1) Prothro has both hands on the ball.
2) NFL =/= CFB

What about this is so hard for you guys to grasp? Here, a picture is worth a thousand words:

What does that prove exactly?

If you're taking the stance that it was simultaneous possession why does the thread title point out it was a bad call?

Just stop, man. Watch that Sports Science clip that was just on SportsCenter. It was pretty clearly an INT. The only thing I agree with is that the Packers shouldn't have scored their last TD either due to a terrible call. Each team had bailouts on their last TD drive.

Why because of the 1st down they got on replay? Because the only reason that happened was because the refa fricked up the play before that

Because that's how the narrative has gone. But you are correct, in hindsight I could have put "bad call" in quotes to emphasize the debated validity of the call.

No, the pass interference called on the Seahawks when they stopped the Packers on 3rd down earlier in the drive that would have forced a punt.

Same thing happened after LSU beat UF at the swamp after the fake FG. UF fans swore up and down it was a forward lateral. Then ESPN dropped some science on them and most of them but the most delusional jorts wearers finally got it.

I've seen the "sports science" clip on ESPN, it simply backs up their agenda that it was the wrong call.
Tate has his hand all up in there first before Jennings touches it, and they both go to the ground grasping it, it's simultaneous control, possession, and so on. I know you guys don't think so, but it was the right call:

Look at Tate's right hand. He grabs Jennings' arm, not the ball. His left hand has his fingertips on it, but that's it. Tate doesn't get both hands on the ball until they are halfway to the ground, well after Jennings has full control of it.

What exactly does ESPN have to gain from saying that the call was wrong? What could they gain from that "agenda"?

Congrats on finding the worst angle I've seen yet of the catch
Why don't you just show the pic of Carrol right after the play. His elation clearly shows that the right call was made

I just love how Tate has his right arm on Jennings forearm as he touches the ground and then he touches the ball....not possesion, TOUCHES the ball. All the while Jennings has full possesion of it immediately and all the way down to the ground.
