Well I will say this I watched the game twice, and came away with the same thoughts I had after Saturday. Frustration. Lasy year I gave the staff a pass for conservative play calling this year now way. If they don't figure out how to out smart someone on a opposing defense LSU is fricked, and by fricked I mean 9-3 fricked. This power run we will run over your shite ain't going to cut it this year. They had a year to change the routes they run to figure out better blocking schemes. You mean to tell me ULM has a better offensive philosphy than LSU. The reality is yes they do. They know how to create mismatches. Les doesn't think he needs too. That is my problem with what I have watched for the last 4 years and counting. I have been a Les Miles supporter but I can tell you my patience is running low. We'll see maybe againt Florida we'll see a different game plan but right now I don't see it. I expect a swamp beat down if they look like they did last Saturday.

Whoa dude, chill out. You may have "watched the game twice" but you haven't increased your football acumen much.

First this assertion you make that "ULM's coaches" know how to create mismatches but LSU can't. The reason that CLM doesn't think he needs to create mismatches is because he DOESN'T! Our whole offense is a mismatch for 99% of the defenses we play because of how CLM has built his team. Just as Saban does at Bama, LSU thrives on building a team that plays "grown man" football and forces defenses to distort themselves to try and overcome the huge disadvantage that occurs when they try to stop LSU with a 7 man front.

LSU's style of offense forces defenses like Auburn to commit 8 or 9 men to the box and also to take chances with blitzes to have any chance of stopping us. This makes play calling very simple. Our main problem so far this year has not been the plays that are called, rather with the execution of those plays.

There have been breakdowns this year at every level of our passing game, from QB, to receiver, to protection. The coaches can only implement and call the plays, the players have to execute them properly. So far this year we have struggled with that execution, hopefully we will improve in this area as the season goes on.

Are you serious? The spread is what the option was 30 years ago. Teams with lesser talent run the spread.

Who are the best 2 programs in country right now?

What offense do they run?

false expectations appearing real.

tigerfannkaty.

either lower your expectations, or have faith.

faith usually begins w/ the record of the past.
faith usually begins w/ gratitude.

if you are grateful for les, you will have less les fear.

the fear of the negatigahs is based on their own lack of faith.

les miles coaches FAITH and INSPIRES his players.

lm cannot coach fans. fans have to choose on their own to live in faith or fear.

Me too, if that motherfricker, Les, wins the next four games like he won the last four I'm done!
