So the logic for LSU's rank last year doesn't count in 2012?

The criteria for ranking teams changes every year and sometimes every week to fit whatever narrative the people doing the rankings want them to fit.

If I had a vote I'd go
1- Bama
2- Oregon
3- LSU
4- FSU
And if I didn't think FSU will choke to a crappy team like usual I would consider them up at #3 at this point.
I don't understand why people even get worked up over a ranking right now. If we win against Florida, SC and Bama we are ranked #1 (2 at the very very least). If we lose one of those we drop. It's that simple. The rankings right now mean very little.
