for the people bashing the OP, have you guys seen the movie?

not defending kev, but i saw it yesterday and honestly didn't think it was all that good.

performances were outstanding, like what the critics said.

and i very much enjoyed twbb, it's in my top 10...this one, i dunno...maybe i need to see it again to see if i missed anything.

You IDIOT! What? Not enough car crashes and robots in it this for your liking? Was this movie too much THINKING and SMARTS for you? Can't handle intellectual movies? I mean you are SUPPOSED TO love this movie-=-it has SEymour Hoffman in it for Crhying out loud.

Mostly this. I didn't think it was horrible, and there were times where it was really compelling (mostly due to the performances), but it REALLY dragged on for no good reason. Honestly, when I saw the thread title, I was thinking OP was probably just being a douche so I went to the movie anyway. I was pretty disappointed.

edit: Just read the OP. This was still a terrible thread, but I think OP's heart was in the right place.
