Good thing I keep that steel umbrella. Nothing works better when the sky starts falling unexpectedly...

Florida still looks soft up front. If Gilmore wants to go there and struggle stopping Kentuckys 105 rank run game, let him. LSU will just get another blue chipper to go in round 1.

Not looking good? Why do you say that? Is that just an baseless assumption?

What is it about Gilmore's recruitment with LSU that makes some feel that he is a done deal? What is he doing with LSU that he is not also doing with Florida? Perhaps I am missing something but everything I hear and read tells me he is 50/50.

I'm not sure which is worse...the prognostications of him going elsewhere or the reactions to those prognostications. Overreactions on both sides.

Because in his interviews he always says LSU is in the lead. He has never said FLA is in the lead. He says his mother really likes FLA. but she has never been to LSU before. We will see when she comes and talks to Les Miles.

Free wine and dine, great seats, what does a high school kid have to do on Sat afternoon better than being rushed by a major college football program. If i had the chance i would take it too.
He is still coming to Lsu for visit and let the better school win. I put my money on Lsu but it is up to Gilmore to make the call. Either way we are stacked, just would be really stacked with the additon of Mr. Gilmore and a couple more of those on the i want bad list.

I've heard nothing about this. Unless it's coming from an LSU insider, nobody on the UF front has said anything about this.

The visit has been scheduled for more than a month. The clothes are as meaningless as most of the other bullshite that gets talked about in recruiting. He'll still be at LSU for Bama and commit 2 days later. Has stated many, many times that all he's waiting for is momma to visit LSU and then she'll sign off on LSU. Says every time asked that LSU is his leader(since May). It all comes down to momma. If she is impressed with Les and Brick then game over. LSU gets him. If not then he'll be at UF. It's that simple.

Exactly. Florida coaches, fans and recruiting experts all know it.

quote:

Gilmore said relationships are the key factor in his recruitment and his closeness with the LSU coaching staff has made the Tigers his favorite.

GatorSports.com From their write up on visitors for Saturdays game. It came out yesterday. Nothing has changed. He is set to decide after he and his mom visit BR for the Bama game.

quote:

Gilmore... will officially visit LSU on Nov. 3 and make his decision shortly afterward.
