your guess on LSU-South Carolina game time

Just ordered my tickets to the game and am trying to somewhat make travel plans. With us being the only game in the SEC that weekend with both teams ranked(both top 10 for now as well), do y'all think CBS picks it up at 2:30?

this thread hasn't been made yet

Thank you as well that was truly helpful because we all know how well the search function works at times.

it's as easy as checking the official schedule and noticing the game time has yet to be decided. Many are assuming it'll be 2:30 on CBS, which is probably the most likely situation, but that has not been determined.
Anyone giving you a time is making an assumption.

tree-fiddy. the lochness monster is scheduling the game.

Looking like it'll be the 2:30 game.
The other SEC games that week are:
Kentucky at Arkansas
Alabama at Missouri
Auburn at Ole Miss
Tennessee at Mississippi State
Florida at Vandy
Texas A&M at Louisiana Tech
The only other possibility I could see as the 2:30 slot would be Tennessee at Mississippi State, but in all likelihood, it will probably be our game, given the two teams will both be ranked.

is Bama @ Mizzou not already scheduled? That seems like it'd be a decent game too IMO

As far as I see, none of the games that week have set times yet

LSU-USCe is a lock for CBS unless a couple of unforseen losses occur. Alabama-Mizzou would be the other option but that likely will be an ESPN night game.

yeah I'm thinking 2:30 was kinda hoping for a night game. I will be happy either way though!

They can't all be night games. Hell, I'm happy that our first 4 will have been night games. Throw Bama in there and more than half of our games will have been at night.
Way better than last year (my last football season as a student btw) where we only had 2 of our 6 at night, and those were NW State and Western Kentucky.
6 home games is on the low side to begin with, but when you have one at 11 am, one at 1:30 pm, and two 2:30s in all of your SEC home games, the tailgate scene isn't exactly in full strength.
Now, speaking from a football point of view, and not just the selfish fans that we all are, it doesn't matter what time of the day we play.. our players will bring it.
