Tiger Stadium vs. The Superdome

I was at the Falcons game last night and was thinking about the noise level in there compared to The Swamp. Being a dome intensifies the noise so I wanted to know what you guys thought. Which is louder....Saints or a big night game in TS?

depends who lsu is playing

a playoff game in the dome is louder or a MNF game.

yeah i have thought the same thing and it is hard to compare. I would say that playing a top ranked Bama team at night in Death Valley is second to none in relation to lets say Saints Vikings NFC championship game. But i have heard friends say that it was every bit as loud as a big game in Death Valley.

Saint games are much louder than Tiger Stadium

the Dome at its loudest is louder than TS at its loudest

Right now the Dome, but let's rehash this after the SEZ expansion goes up, and see what that does to TS's acoustics.

The Dome last year for the Lions playoff game was just about the loudest constant noise I have ever heard at a football game. Maybe the LSU/Alabama game this year can match it.

I would say the dome because of being closed in, but a big night game in Death valley with 92,000 plus would be interesting.

Before the opener against the redskins, I would've said TS. But the who dat chant before kickoff was louder than anything I ever heard at TS. But that that was built up frustration from the offseason

They are pretty comparable. Superdome is louder throughout the entire game but TS probably gets louder in big moments. With that being said, I've never heard a louder moment than when Gleason blocked the punt against Atlanta...

TigerStadium is louder, and it has nothing to do with the stadium IMO, it has to do with the fans. College fans are simply louder than pro fans. Most people that are college and pro fans like myself would admit that they cheer less at a pro game than at a college game.

Superdome playoff game = 8.75 loudness
Tiger Stadium vs Bama = 9.75 loudness
Been to both. Tiger Stadium in the early 2000's was insane.

Saints fans leave early and complain about other fans standing up.
Tiger Stadium!
Tiger Stadium!

The dome. It gets utterly ridiculous in there for big games.
Makes lsu seem like west monroe.

Depends on magnitude of the game
Still say the '09 NFC Championship was the loudest game ive ever been to for both stadiums
