Had a supper last Thursday night where 5 of 7 people said he needed to be replaced..
Have a $50 bet with one of them that said he won't be here next year.
I fricking love me some Les Miles!

I've always thought come from behind meant 4th Quarter or at least 2nd half, not just down at any point

I go through the same stupid shite every time I go back back to B.R. for Thanksgiving. Some of our fans have to be the dumbest sports minded people on the planet.

back on the Les Miles train? Arent we all?
no. there are some that will never accept him. EVERY TIME the Tigers struggle they surface. And the few times the Tigers lose, he's the worst coach on the planet and nick saban never lost a game and never made a mistake and we are inferior to alabama and we need to fire him. it is utterly amazing to me that these people exist. i am a graduate and have been a fan since the '60s and we have never had a BETTER COACH, INCLUDING SABAN. yes, saban has taken another stride in his career at bama and he is argueably the best in the business now but miles damn sure is better than saban was at LSU.

There is no way, NO WAY, that LSU loses to Pedophile State University if we don't play the game in a mud pit. Might as well have played that game on a beach.

Totally agree. All of this isn't attributed to Saban having to build the program. Saban used to have some game decision blunders. He wasn't a perfect "game-day" coach (Ole Miss 2001, qb draw with Mauck and a 30 pt lead in 2002). Saban at Bama has been almost perfect, although I strongly believe that Les Miles outcoached Saban in 2010 and the first game in 2011.

he's a better coach now than he was here, whether its just lesson's learned from coaching here or stuff he picked up in the NFL.

Yep.
But let's get back to the main point of this thread. Les Miles occasionally drives us all nuts (Tenn '10, Bama BCS), but as a whole, we can't ask for a better coach. I am just amazed at how stacked this program is currently. LSU has a system that can overcome losses of even the most key players. Lose a qb, pound the football. Lose a rb, more carries for one of the other 4 stud rbs. Lose a Heisman finalist defensive back, plug in extremely talented corners and blitz less because your d-line can maul the other line anyway.
Les Miles

totally agree and Les has gotten better since he started as well. The recruiting and talent evaluations are incredible since the first 2 classes and especially since Chief was hired.
