For the TS is too expensive crowd, what should tix cost?

I've seen several posts about how the "wine and cheese" crowd has caused the downfall of TS, and how the joe six-pack balls to the wall Tiger fan is priced out and just can't get in no matter what. So my question is for those posters who think it's too expensive, how much should tickets cost? What's a fair price for a pair of tix in the lower bowl sidelines. Or the south endzone?
FYI, I've got a pair in the East Upper. This year they cost $920($410/seat for tickets, $50/seat for TAF).

Face vale is fine but web you have to pay $150+ for good tickets in a ticket market it's too much

There's a waiting list for season tix right? Sounds like the price is more than fair, to me.

Ticket price, TAF donation (about to go up again for next year), parking pass.
A lot more to it than just price of the ticket.
A lot more to it than just price of the ticket.

Exactly. Should raise prices actually.
And nobody is priced out of the stadium, just priced out of season tickets. People acting like they can't get into games, outside of maybe Bama, are lazy and lying.

The cost of a ticket to see Journey at the Cajundome is $45.
So no more than that.

Neither of those are "required" to purchase tickets to see a game.

How about $5 for a good hotdog and a beer. That's all I'm asking for.

Perhaps you misunderstood me. TAF donation is the surcharge. Parking pass is not necessary, but at one time you also didn't have to pay shite to park within a mile of the campus.

They're are people waiting for tickets. Price could be more.

East sideline tickets with TAF donation cost $175 per ticket per game average.... That's N.Tx, Idaho, Towson, or Alabama.
It's a choice. Pay $175 each game... Or go into the ticket broker market and drop $300-$600 or more per ticket for the 2 biggest games.
That's about what it costs.

Yeah, a waiting list for a lot more of the Wine and Cheesers. It's a freaking social event, not an L.S.U. football game.
More of the "Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. I'm at an LSU football game but could totally csre less about the team, the score or anything outside of MY party and MY good time" crowd.
Hey, it's halftime, don't care about watching the band either, gotta get back to my tailgate and drink/party some more. Party. Party. Party. Wait. Hold on. Need to call all my frieds first with a Party update before I commence with the partying.
BTW, ticket prices are not that over the top, it's all the fees associated with season tickets that have priced many long time L.S.U. die-hards out and brought in the Cheesers.
LSUAD needs to start selling those Green Bay Packer Cheese hats at the games. Would be perfectly fitting.

A "die-hard" could have stood outside the west entrance gates at 5:30, and had a ticket in hand in the bowl for probably $20-$25 in time to see the flyover Saturday night. Even less if he/she was willing to miss pre-game.

I'm extremely sympathetic to the joe six pack crowd but at the same time we're in an arms race
Posted on 9/9/12 at 11:41 pm to OldManRiver
Wrong, without a donation you will not get season tickets. Speaking from experience.

No way that stadium cost more than 80 million to build. Look at what Jerry World cost
