I would say B-. Sadly I watched and thought a little more foot speed would be nice. Then I remembered JJ was gone. LOL

The most alarming things I saw was lack of protection and lack of separation from the WR's. Could be trouble against better teams.

Zack did a good job. Being the first game of the season, and the first start for Zach, I give him top marks.

But grading under these circumstances is not really necessary. It was a warm-up game and things looked pretty good for the most part.

We will see when he goes on the road to auburn. 3 home games is perfect.

Last year was brutal.

B, people saying he needs to pick up the cb blitz are crazy. The db disguised it perfectly. he showed man, once the snap he blitzed. no one would have picked that up

B

Our total O ranks at #27. I don't think it has ranked that high since 07.

I thought he played pretty good, all things considered.

sounds about right. He's an upgrade from last year, but room for improvement, which I expect.

I will admit the DB did a good job disguising it, but not *that* good. If you watch it again you'll see the WR point to him before the snap and yell something at Mett. If anything, Mett should have taken that as a clue that he has a hot route to that WR and unloaded it quickly. Mett didn't recognize.

Mett is a solid qb like the uga posters said, but y'all were so caught up in the mettsiah bullshite. The hype and expectations, made by our fans, really wasn't fair to the kid IMHO

Spot on!

I'd have to say B- for his debut.

C+ to B-, probably leaning to your grade because it was his starting debut. He wasn't asked to do as much as he will be, but he also didn't get "A" grade protection, either. He held the ball too long a couple of times (theoretically coachable) and the bad force (easily correctable) and these are the main things keeping his NT grade lower.

holy shite, i didnt even watch the game and i can do better than some of you tards.

Mett - A.

Why? because i fricking said so. Lets see some of you pussies get your arse out there and lead a top team for the first time on the opening night in tiger stadium. For those of you who blind, Mile's plan was to put ZM in low risk situations and put him in a position to build his confidence, and allow the team to build confidence in him. frick that A shite. Mission accomplished. A+ i say.

Yea, because mett called all those slants and screens

We ran those because we finally have someone who can execute them.

It was a pleasure watching our receivers catching balls while running.

That wideout screen is harder to throw than many realize.

I think the guy did awesome,he's going to be something special for this school! Factor in first game jitters, the pressure put on him to be a superstar right out the box,and finally getting to face a defense with the green light to lay him out (which did),he's going to be fine.
