They all need work in pass protection (the RB and FB are included in this).

Agreed. Mett took unnecessary shots. I'm surprised he stood unphased in the pocket.

Williford played poorly. He and Lonergan gave up some a-gap pressure and on the pick it was VERY noticeable.

They need to tighten up.

El Collins needs to be on the field every snap on offense. Williford needed some time on the pine tonight IMO.

Former Tiger Michael Brickers tweeted that if mett got knocked down again he was going to roundhouse kick his TV. The digression he and Rueben Randle had on twitter was quite interesting.

Well I hope he went to Best Buy because Mett definitely got knocked the F out.

"They all need work in pass protection (the RB and FB are included in this)."

Imagine LSU needing work in pass protection......what's passing?

This just shows that we really don't work on passing in practice like we should, regardless of what coaches say during spring and fall practice. It's all coach speak.

you've been to a few practices or is this just another crazy assumption by a negatig who still can't get over the fact our coach eats grass?

Y'all are coming out the wood works. I can't decide if the threads are worse in the offseason or the rantard threads during season.

He got beat bad by their DE when Landry reeled in the one handed grab. It was the first big hit Mett took

Jeez Mike, I was not impressed with our pass blocking, but to think that we don't work on pass protection or have coaches that don't know how to teach pass protection is just silly.

We threw for nearly 2 bills and ran for 300.. wtf are you talking about?

We did great on offense besides from all the penalties that will be corrected and addressed in practice.

Dominated the opponent. Get over yourself guys, we will be fine.

You do realize Les Miles is running the team right? He doesn't believe in that bull shite running it up on the opposing team like that shite coach from West Virgina does. Les Miles respects his opponents and is humble about it. Did a great job and got Mett comfortable with throwing the pig skin around, look for it to open up a lot later on in the season.

I agree with you Cody, but Mett did take a huge shot tonight. That can't happen.

I agree, but it's football and we are human, gotta expect a blind side every now and then.. we gave the quarterbacks hell with it last year like we were atheist. If you dish it out, you better be able to take it!

You better believe Les Miles and Co. will be working with the lineman and Hb's + FB's in practice on blocking scheme and who to pick up. Guarantee it.

I seem to remember Miles and McCarney were pretty friendly from back in their old Big 12 days
