Yes, it can be argued they are in a no lose situation, but you have to think that the atmosphere and situation they are in really sucks.

I feel awful for the players. They didn't know. They were in no way involved in this. shite, it started before some of them knew what football was.

Yes. But the fan base and all that has happened there more than make up for the sympathy I have for obrien and the players.

Nope. I don't. They had their chance to transfer and yet decided to stick around for this.

If only it were that easy to transfer at the drop of a hat. We don't know the circumstances for anyone that left and stayed.

So, that would be a no then

I can have sympathy for them and still be glad they lost. Right?

I feel a little sorry for the players, but like it has already been said, transfering was an option. I dont feel sorry for obrien, he knew what he was getting into.

No, he's a big boy. He took the job after it happened and he's getting paid millions. Of course I don't feel bad for him.

You always have choices. They made theirs. Make no mistake, they are still playing for Jo Pa and the old regime. It clear from the mood in the fan base and the general 'us vs them' thing they have going. I have no sympathy for them. Penn st does not deserve a football program. Not this season.

Feel sorry! I respect the shite out of em. To inherit that shite that was left to em and they decided to stick it out, here's is to em. And the coach for putting their names on the jerseys so everyone will know they didn't run for greener pastures, another.

No, O'Brien new what he was in for when he took the job

The players are student-athletes with emphasis on education 1st. If their priorities are in order they will know which is more important.

This plus the coaches are getting paid very well and the players have a very valuable scholarship for their education.

I love how 2/3 of the fan base was gone after PSU threw that last pick.

If you stand behind your team, be there at the very end of the game too. Especially this game.

In a way I do and in a way I don't. It's complicated. I have absolutely no respect for that university but the players and coaches are just playing the hand they were dealt....and I definitely respect the dedication of the players that stayed.
