Two days after this family is told by doctors that the cancer is back guess who calls the Dad and asks can he come and visit with his son. I am proud of our head coach as a football coach, I am proud of our head coach as a father and I am proud of our coach as a man. With all the happenings this week surrounding LSU football Les finds time to make this visit. I conclude this post with a request for your prayers for this young man and his family.

Wouldn't have anybody else. Thoughts and prayers sent buddy.

Les never ceases to impress me. But more importantly, may the Lord continue to bless their family and, if it's in His will, that the boy will one day go into complete remission. Praise the Lord for the little encouragements like this along the way in this acrid disease.

Prayers sent. They're reasons why kids want to play football for LSU and Les Miles is a huge part of it.

Wait so who called?

Hate to hear anyone getting cancer let alone twice. My mom passed away from cancer 4 years ago, so I do what I can to help out.

Prayers for the boy and his family.

People can say what they want about Les Miles, but one thing the can NEVER say is that he is not decent man.

Sorry for the young guys troubles and prayers sent.

Miles appears to be a fine man who just happens to be one one of the very most successful college coaches in the game today.

Best of luck to the child and his family!

I remember when you were keeping us updated about her situation. Hard to believe it's been four years already.

Props to Coach Miles. He is a complete person.

Prayers from us as well.

My son broke his leg this past winter and Coach Miles sent him a signed pic that said "Fight like a Tiger!" Pretty terrific guy.

My prayers are with this young man and his battle with this horrible disease as well as his family. I lost a daughter 9 years ago and I have not forgotten one moment of those terrible days months and years and I pray that this family can come together and fight along side this courageous son. My love to all.

Wish everyone the best of luck. People can say what they want about Les, but I always saw him as a decent guy. He is the exception to the rule.

Again, I hope everything works out for the best!!
