Short story I would like to share with all about Coach Miles Tonight

Some old very good family friends of mine had the horrible nightmare of having a child of theirs be diagnosed with cancer last year. After numerous nights and days battling for his life against not only the cancer, but the aggressive treatments also he was able to go into remission and graduated last spring from high school. Earlier this week some swelling in his leg prompted a return visit to his doctors. The doctors say that his cancer is back and he needed to begin aggressive treatment immediately. This young man was to begin LSU on Monday but now must return for a rematch battle with his cancer.
Two days after this family is told by doctors that the cancer is back guess who calls the Dad and asks can he come and visit with his son. I am proud of our head coach as a football coach, I am proud of our head coach as a father and I am proud of our coach as a man. With all the happenings this week surrounding LSU football Les finds time to make this visit. I conclude this post with a request for your prayers for this young man and his family.

Les always comes across as a good dude. Not every coach cares.
Good luck to your friends.

Lots of coaches and football players do this. It isn't a big deal that a coach is visiting someone sick. BUT I guarantee you this. Les Miles is one of the very few that do this for the right reason!

God bless them and its evident that you are a good friend to them & may God bless you as well. There are times we think we have an issue and there is always someone that will trade issues and/or challenges with you.
