Tarly
Apparently Randyl Tarly is quite the badass and I think he's who people need to look out for. I didn't realize he was the only person who won a battle against Robert Baratheon's forces during the War of the Usurper. Now he's arrived at the captial with an entire army with him and is the new Justicar. I see him moving up in the ranks and also was wondering were the Tarlys Blackfyre supporters during that rebellion cause I can see them helping out the Golden Company/Aegon?
Laswell Peake: "Even after a century, some of us still have friends in the Reach. The power of Highgarden may not be what Mace Tyrell imagines."

You better believe that shite.
He is probably the most under-rated characters in the series - Been flying below the radar for the most part, but I saw during my read a very strong similarity between him and Roose Bolton - Tarly's frustration at being second fiddle to Tyrell will manifest sooner or later, probably in the same way, too.
And he doesn't have a psycho heir to deal with like Ramsey.
I could see a set-up where Randall is severely wounded and Maester Sam saves his life...through the same service Randall thought beneath his House...

Martin has been setting up Mace Tyrell as an oaf for four books now. With the build up of Tarly as the ultimate general it is only a matter of time before he defects or betrays Mace. Notice in the epilogue of ADWD he continually plays off Aegon and the GC as a non-threat, almost to the point of suspicion.
