You are correct, ser. I checked the Wiki on Rhaegar before, but it did not specify.
However, Martin did answer the question of what happened to Rhaegar's body in an official Q&A:

Additionally, I also came across an interesting piece of info regarding Dany's potential story arc. A popular theory is that she will continue east to Asshai, per prophesy. But according to Martin, that is not going to happen.

Asshai is to the East, I believe.

I did find an interesting theory about her prophesy. Her son will be the stallion that mounts the world but that son is actually her dragon
