Yeah, it's pretty indisputable. Someone (I'm pretty sure it was Xaro) tells her that he and 3 other warlocks had pursued her for revenge since she burned the HoU, and somewhere else, there's a passage where Euron captures 4 warlocks, kills one, then makes the other 3 eat him.

It's kind of disappointing that they show him dying in the show. It makes me think he won't have much of an affect in the future.
