Sanderson is an excellent author.. but he really kind of flopped it when it came to writing Mat in his first attempt

I honestly don't know. But they've done pretty good so far with the omission of certain characters. The only one I've been really disappointed in is LSH but it is what it is.

Is it safe to say no Victarian?

Guessing no Greyjoys this season, yeah. Which honestly makes sense, Vic and Asha's arcs are really only worth one season. They'd just be flinging in filler the next season if they added them this season.

I'm still pissed about LSH.

Well, since we all have time on our hands waiting, I would like to run a bit of an unscientific poll. Which chapter is your favorite?
I have always been intrigued by "The Ghost of Winterfell".

Tough to pin down an absolute favorite chapter so I'll just say that some of the absolutely best written chapters would be Sansa VII her last chapter in aSoS. Theon's last chapter in aDwD. Jamie's chapter jumping into the bear pit to save Brianne.
Now that I'm thinking about it, I really can't do it. There are just way too many awesome chapters to say that one is the best or my favorite

None of them had my heart racing like the RW.

Sansa's last chapter in ASoS , the Catelyn Arya RW chapters, Stannis arriving at the Wall and Jon being elected LC, the chapter when Jon kills Janos, the last Davos chapter when Manderly tells Davos he's sending him to Skagos, Jaime burning Cersei's letter, and the Melisandre chapter.

Looks like he's the Gravedigger y'all. :nana:

That would be a pretty good off the page story for them to fill some time with.
Posted on 7/27/14 at 12:31 pm to BluegrassBelle
Definitely. The Hound is easily one of the fan favorites and I could see them delving into that.

I really hope D&D keep him in the story more than Georgey did

They already have. I'm glad that D&D extended Arya's time with the Hound through season 4. Rory is a great actor and has really made The Hound a fan favorite.
Wouldn't be surprised if he comes back. And having Brienne see him in Gravedigger garb will be really interesting, especially considering the show changes and how they fought each other.

I hope they do Kevan right, he's an awesome character. "Aye, he has his mother. And his father too, I think."
