They also need to think about previous seasons and realize that even less battles and fights happened this early on in all 3 seasons than this one.
Hodors don't even remember what happened in Season 3, much less what they ate for breakfast..I shite down there throat and ranted to them about how awesome neck-breaking Hodor was.
For me, that scene totally redeemed the break off from the books.

The ultimate Hodors posts that I've seen so far this season are the poster the didn't remember who Locke was and the poster who thought Lysa was married to a Targ.

Supposedly that children's book may not be from the ASOAIF universe. Not saying that's actually the case, but I think GRRM may have said something along those lines. Would definitely be interesting if it was the night king's bride & ice dragons exist.

I'm only a casual show watcher so I have no idea who Locke was or what he was doing

Major crackpot. What if bran the builder was azhor ahai and bran is him reborn. Melisandre thinks it's jon in her visions but it is actually bran.

Looking strictly at the AA prophecy, I'm starting to buy in to at least the possibility that it's Dany, she actually fits what it says better than anyone. Mel looks for AA in the flames and only sees Jon Snow, so that obviously points to Jon. In Dany's vision of Rhaegar, he says that Aegon is the PTWP.
There are lots of possibilities, but I'm sticking with it being Jon until I see something definitive that changes my mind.

I definitely think it's Jon too...and the 'wolf boy' is Bran.

Not sure why it took me this long to check out the Dunk and Egg tales but I finally started reading them.
They are short (I've read the first two in about a day to a day and a half each). And not extremely heavy compared to ASOI&F. But they are good reading.
For anyone who hasn't read them, I'd recommend them. They a least put a teeny tiny dent in the wait till the next book.

Actually, D&E should be required reading for the series, if not considered a part of the series already.
I believe them to be, anyway.

I haven't read D&E yet but I've read all the synopses online and know what happened in it. Are the books available in paperback?

No I think they're spread out in different collections of short stories unfortunately

D&E is completely necessary to get a full picture of what's going on. Hell I like Faegon (he's going to claim a dragon) because I think he is Blackfyre all the way and believe them to be the rightful heirs. I wish we had more on the Great Bastards. Some real Dragon Lords there.

2 of the 3 collections I know are. One I had to buy in hardcover, but it was on sale.
I'm sure somebody here has them as pdf they could email you.
