it is possible that Tyrion knew. As he walks into the bathroom, the story narrates that Tyrion went to the room where he knew his father would be. That seems a little odd. Why would he know his dad would be taking a shite.
This is the first I've heard of this. Crayzee.

That would be so incredibly badass.

just an update i am 10% through game of thrones on my kindle. i must say i find this to be a lot more enjoyable then the train wreck i call the hobbit. i'm impressed with how the tv series followed so closely with the book so far i can almost picture everything that has happened so far because i have seen it. i also like how instead of individual chapters they have each section as a different person. it may be a long ways off as i have far to go but i am looking forward to jumping in on yall conversations in here.
also can someone tell me where do season 1 and season 2 end and begin bookwise? for instance is the entire game of thrones book all of season one and then the second season is book 2? thanks

I always imagined Meera being younger than that.

You can probably say that for a lot of characters in the book compared to the show. They've obviously aged the characters a bit.

I think GRRM regrets making the characters (the kids) so young, and would age most of them by 3-4 years.

Yeah, this pretty much from what he's said.

I think this is just more that Tywin was a creature of habit and Tyrion just knew where he'd be once he wasn't in the bedroom. Not exactly anywhere else Tywin could be if he wasn't in the room anyway.
Not sure what kinda poison would last 2-3 days and show no issues to Tywin's health, the timing just doesn't match up for the Red viper to have poisoned him really.

This.
If he knew Tywin would be in the bathroom due to poison, he wouldn't have gone to the bedroom first.

Yea he's admitted to it in interviews and I agree with him it's hard to imagine Robb, Jon and Arya doing the things they do at their book ages. I always mentally pictured them at their HBO ages even before it aired.
Just seems more feasible

Got my official A Feast of Ice and Fire Cookbook today. There may be lemon cakes in the near future.
But in all seriousness it's a pretty cool deal. Each recipe has a excerpt from the books where it's mentioned.
