I subscribed to HBO last month to catch up on a lot of episodes I missed of True Blood and Boardwalk. I ended up watching the entire Sopranos series and just finished today.

What's another good show to watch? Six Feed Under? Entourage? The Wire?

ETA: Friend let me borrow Game of Thrones on blu-ray so gonna try that out

My favorite HBO show behind The Sopranos

Entourage

I liked it. The earlier seasons are the best

Also, if you liked Seinfeld then check out Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's probably the best comedy on TV today.

The Sopranos was amazing. Got really bummed out when I finished it. Heard The Wire was good. I'll give it a shot.

The Wire is a religious experience.

Of those 3

1) The Wire
small drop
2) Six Feet Under
big drop
3) Entourage

Entourage is like True Blood, starts off as a fairly entertaining guilty pleasure, then sort of goes to shite. My favorite drama ever alternates daily between The Wire and Breaking Bad. Six Feet Under is frequently superb, has a bit of a drop off around S4, then gets great again. It has the best finale I've ever seen.

Dude Entourage is heads and shoulders above fricking True Blood. I couldn't get through 2 episodes of that terrible, terrible show

I'm not too worried about a big drop. If I start watching a show and get into it, I'll keep watching even if it gets rough (True Blood, 24, Weeds, etc).

The Wire and Six Feet Under are great. But you definitely want to watch Game of Thrones.

I watched the first episode and just really didn't get into it. I guess I'll have to watch it again then go straight on to episode 2. Not sure why, I guess it just had so many characters and got confusing. I'm sure I'll get hooked after a few episodes

When you begin watching The Wire, just remember that the City of Baltimore is the main character. Don't try to keep up with who is who, you will have the same experience you had with Game of Thrones if you do. You will eventually find your favorites that you want to keep up with. The Wire is, in my opinion, the best series ever made.

It takes a little bit to sort it out. Before I started reading the books (I watched the first season beforehand) I had to occasionally use the A Song of Ice and Fire Wiki to place characters and who they were.

Yeah, I watched the first three or so episodes before throwing in the towel. True Blood is for chicks and people who hate Louisiana.

Not sure if it's OnDemand or not, but I just started Deadwood on Netflix last week and it is fricking great. Almost done with season 1.

Definitely recommend it.

The Larry Sanders Show is the only HBO series on Netflix.

I have 3 Deadwood discs right now. Are you talking about just streaming?
