Picked up from Dax last night. Small, but good!
Who has boiled crawfish in Lafayette? The Crawfish Spot has them, but they're pricey.

In need of boiled crawfish in Lafayette area tomorrow. Does anyone know where I can get some? I know Jane's in New Iberia has them, but don't know of anyplace else selling boiled crawfish to go right now.
First time I grilled it, I apparently cooked it too high and/or too long. Hubby did it next time and it was good. Of course, the man is soo good at grilling that he should do it for a living.
Have you tried the chicken/cheese/spinach/jalapeno sausage? Yum.
IMO, Little Veron's has the best stuffed pork chops. The sausage stuffed, not the cornbread stuffed.

Johnson's or 2Paul's in Laffy. Eddie's is good when they're "on" but it's definitely hit or miss.
Nunu's is located in Youngsville and Maurice. Broussard's (the original Nunu's) is in Milton.
Their stuffed chickens are the best. Bar none.
Honestly, with the exception of their stuffed pork chops (which are okay), I've never gotten anything I didn't like from Nunu's.

When you begin watching The Wire, just remember that the City of Baltimore is the main character. Don't try to keep up with who is who, you will have the same experience you had with Game of Thrones if you do. You will eventually find your favorites that you want to keep up with. The Wire is, in my opinion, the best series ever made.

F&B is really funny. Farfetched, but funny nonetheless.
Sorry, double post.

I only get a few each year because the squirrels and birds eat the higher ones, and my dogs pick the bottom of the tree clean.

For fine dining, I recommend Circo (Bellagio), or Top of the World (Stratosphere). Bellagio's buffet is quite tasty.
I would stay at either Horseshoe or ElDorado. I used to travel to S'port for work once or twice a month and have stayed at both. The rooms are larger at Horseshoe. If you do not want to leave the casino, I would definitely stay at the Horseshoe and eat at Binion's. If you leave the compound, any of the restaurants mentioned so far are good.
I'll second that. This chick loved both the book and the series. It's in the top five books I've read.
Sucks that it's only six episodes, though.
