If Goodell's even thinking about a settlement, its for a reason. I say frick him, see you in court.

If the option is for reduced suspensions take it right now, it's getting too close to the season to risk running it all the way into court imo.
I could see them throwing out everyone's suspension, but Vilma still doing 4-8 games however Idk if he would personally accept that

That's my thinking. If the NFL had all the evidence that they claim to have, no way would they be offering to reduce his suspension by 8 games. JMO but I feel there is a reason the NFL doesn't want it to go to court

this. for someone who said he had more than enough evidence to rightfully suspend players why is a settlement being offered? Goodell is about to get dp'd in court and is trying to save face by offering a settlement to say both sides won.
you only offer a settlement when you know they are going to benefit regardless of the situation

This! It's all too conveinient that all of a sudden he wants to talk about reducing some of these penalties. I think that he is showing his hand while trying to not be too obvious. He doesn't have shite! If I was Vilma, I would ride this train all the way through court and open the door for SP.
