Miles wants to play four most of the time. That will be – not necessarily in this order – Spencer Ware, Michael Ford, Jeremy Hill and Kenny Hilliard. That leaves out Blue, who he should move to receiver or tight end or linebacker.

This might be the most ill-informed statement by an LSU beat writer I've read in a long time. I know there was speculation in the past Blue could change positions, but Miles has said Blue may be the best of the RBs, and the idea of Blue playing TE at his current build/weight is pretty absurd IMO.

I said this the other day, the media stirs up crap so you'll continue to read it.

"OMG! Did you see what GG wrote about this person? He's nuts."

And then what do you do, read his bit the following day.

It's just to make you think that they (the media) are smarter than they really are.

Make your own opinion and leave it at that.

GG is a huge troll and all he wants is for someone to read his garbage.

Blue will not be the odd one out, nor should he be. His production will probably increase.

Blue will not be left out of the mix.

The dude is the only running back we have with break away speed.

all of the running backs bring different elements and styles but blue may have the best vision and possibly best break away speed. i just can't see him having to switch.

i believe hilliard is the beast of them all, but everyone will rotate and maybe some play a little full back..

Miles also said that he expects Jarrett Lee will have to have more reps every game after the first Bama game.

Never trust anything Les Miles says about the players. He almost never gives an honest answer when discussing a player.

I've heard straight from key players on the team (mett, mingo, faulk) Blue is the man. When i asked them who's our go to potential 1000 yard rusher this year, they unanimously said Blue.

I understand where this sentiment is coming from - the four listed - Ford isn't changing his position, an the other guys are pretty locked in as running backs - Blue is the best all around athlete and could make the transition to WR (and would likely be very effective out of the slot) - remember how effective Josh Reed was after the transition.

Having said that - I think Blue/Hilliard is the best 1-2 combination out of the backfield. Ford has the most experience, with Ware a close second (and brutal when healthy) - it is a question of numbers. Of course Hill may redshirt, so we just never know.

At his listed size, Blue could play linebacker. Although he was primarily an offensive player in HS, I'm sure he played some defense. It would be absurd to move him to any position other than WR.

Ford: Has the speed to take it to the house
Ware: Has the power to pound it every down
Hilliard: Is a damn FB playing RB(ie: Hester)
Hill: Do not know

Blue: Combination of everyone above.

The worst of the worst when it comes to LSU beat writing. It should be a instant ban for linking his stuff to this site.

Classic Guilbeau. Willing to bet he doesnt believe this statement at all. Just getting a rise out of Tiger fans and some response. Move along.

Does this genius know that all of our te are at least 6'4" and 250 lbs. and jeremy hill will not be playing more then blue. Hill is a freshman who has skills and is more of a power back, but blue is a home run threat and a Junior.
