The emperor in phantom menace. He tries to have the Jedi killed in the opening scene when he needs them to go back to the senate to report the trade federation is invading naboo
Or did he need them to go rescue the queen so she could get a vote of no confidence
I'm so confused
Oh and if anyone understands the whole taxes angle to this movie, please fill me in

I'm a huge fan of Cracked, but they whiffed this one.
Vesper was in with LeChiffe, so she had already given him the password. Granted, her being dead would make it harder to use her as leverage against Bond, but still.
Dr. Nicols helped Kimball so as to not draw attention to himself. Also by helping him he could keep tabs on him. He was afraid Kimball had learned too much and couldn't turn him in to the cops. He needed him dead.

All he had to do was call the cops to come arrest Kimball. Kimball didnt have the evidence yet.

I will say this for phantom menace. I loved the whole naboo thing. I thought the shots of the city and forest looked cool. I thought it was a great addition to the star wars universe. But no sets, no movie magic and then they completely make it look stupid in episode 2. Why did these movies have to suck?

Dude, Cracked should pay you endorsement money.

Dr. Evil could be President to this day if he hadn't let Austin Powers get away 3675 times

I've always laughed about #5. The car still almost hit Peter, and he's fricking Spiderman. A normal person would have been dead as a doornail.
