Dude it doesn't. He will be a RS Sophomore I believe. so he's Mettenbergers replacement. I think this is a sign that Rivers and Randall aren't developing as well as the coaches hoped for. The 2 QB's coming in will still be here. Chill. Tired of people worrying about these Rettig and Jennings.

He'll be an incoming junior with two years to play two. He's an insurance policy behind Mett, that's it. The coaches aren't comfortable enough with Rivers at this point for him to be the primary backup heading into this season.

No one knows what's going on behind the scenes.
Either Randall/Rivers could have academic problems, or les just doesn't feel comfortable having another Freshmen take over if Mett goes down.
This is purely a depth move, and I'm fine with it.

How can the number 2 dual threat qb in 2010 be worse then JJ? Seriously. JJ was NEVER a dual threat qb.
