I hate them. You hate them. We all hate them. Let's talk about what we'd change.

For one I'd get rid of shows like Around the Horn and the show with the dude and his dad.

Second I'd get rid of the morons like Skip and Stephen A.

Third I'd kill Broussard.

I'll continue to add inputs but what y'all got?

Sell it to Bain Capital for them to break it up and dissolve it.

I wouldn't know what to change because I don't watch it.

Complete personnel overhaul. Berman first out the door. Skip not far behind.

Less biased coverage. If you're going to cover sports news just report it without all the other annoying bullshite.

:kige:, and I'd just get rid of that whole "First Take" show. It's terrible, anyway..

Barring pti, and only if it's Mike&Tony, kill all the list shows. Nuke anything that resembles Springer and put these contrarian, divisive jagaloons back in their hometown papers where they belong.

...and replace them with classic games and 30 for 30s.

So what we're saying is: We would do away with the entire fricking station and make a new one. I'm down for that.

Eliminate first take and make ESPN 2 just for sports. Cut the drama and the favoritism, just unbiased sports all the time

I would uproot the entire business and move it somewhere else other than freaking Connecticut. I would get rid of the individual ESPN pages (ESPNDallas, ESPNLosAngeles, etc.). I would make sure that I had a good variety of sports reporters from all over the country and not just mindless idiots who root for teams up north. I would mandate that any major breaking story get 10 minutes of coverage each time sportscenter is broadcast. Yes, we know Tom Brady got a haircut. We don't care how it will affect the aerodynamics of his throwing motion, or how much quicker it will make him since he has less hair. (yes a huge exaggeration but IDGAF)

I would run my network as the BBC runs its news channels.

My TV and radio broadcasts would be broadcasts of the events, minor commentary, and mostly highlights.

I would have less on-air personalities that take themselves seriously (Skip Bayless, Stephen A. Smith, etc.) and more that have a self-deprecating sense of humor (Dan Patrick, Kenny Mayne, etc.). The majority of people, in my opinion, can connect better with someone who can make fun of themselves than those who cannot.

A major story (such as Lebron to Miami) wouldn't dominate 8/10 stories on my nightly anchor program (Sportscenter). It may take up 2-3/10 segments.

Tebowmania and Linsanity would get some mention, but not the overwhelming portion of the day's coverage.

I would change the background music to "actual" music like the Rolling Stones, Elvis, etc.

I would have a late night sports talk show with a great host. The show would be similar to the Tonight Show, etc. That's where the speculation-type talk would occur.

Pretty simple. Take the 80's version, mix w/ 90's sports events, meaning more football, college baseball, boxing nights, tennis, golf, NASCAR, just main core sporting events, add mma events and lose all the X-games gay shite and ESPN "personalities" talking about stupid shite except maybe for late night as others suggested.

ESPN is just full of themselves and why I don't watch anything except the actual game/match/tourney.
