My steak experiment

So all this hoopla going around about cooking steaks so I decided to go along with it.
Went to Fresh Market earlier and got a nice ribeye. On the way home, I thought hey why not give this thing a little heat on the way home so I sat it on the dashboard and ran the defroster on high heat. Might as well raise that internal temperature a few degrees, right?
Was kind of running around the house when I got home so I figured I would preheat it a little more while I prepare the kitchen, mmkay.
Took the steak out of the flip flop and put some olive oil and seasoning on it. Gave it a good rub and patted it dry. All these microwave steak threads have been on TD so why not give it a shot. Put microwave on for 60 seconds
90 degree turn and put microwave on another 60 seconds
come on now im not doing that mumbo jumbo crap. ill just say all that other crap was to get the steak to room temperature while being very bored. hot as hell grill and a few minutes on each side. all you gotta do. i gotta admit though i do love some trashy beer while im sitting over the grill. no pics of the pbr along side the grill though. just imagine it
this is right off the grill
a little butter and cover for 10 minutes. and yea that is the shadow of my cat smelling that hunk of goodness.
i pity the fool who use microwave

Well that big arse jug of wine should be fitting for a microwave steak.

You must have missed the last steak thread. I believe most of the OP's post is a tongue-in-cheek response to that one.

there is a strange phenomena with peppermints. i buy them bags at a time and for some reason there is always one that looks like it is half eaten. the wrapper is closed tight but half of it is gone.
i think about where it went but have yet to come up with an answer.
i would never eat half of one and put it back in the wrapper to be eaten by a house guest later on

The funniest part of all this is that your clean freak arse was able to make that mess for the sake of trolling the Food Board.
.. and that folks believe you.

That looks delicious. How long do you leave it in the flip flop? What kind of cat do you use for the shadow? I want to try this.
