Will LSU ever play a football game at UNLV?

(for that matter, have we ever played at UNLV?
Can you imagine how wild of a week/weekend it would be if LSU ever played there? ND's game in Ireland got me thinking about how I wish LSU would schedule more games like the UW/Seattle game...preferably the first game of the season so that fans have all offseason to pay for the trip and get psyched for it.
LSU@UNVL tops my list, but here are Some others I'd love to see LSU open the season against at some point in the future:
LSU @ Hawaii
LSU @ Boston College
LSU @ Rutgers
LSU @ Northwestern
LSU @ UCLA
ETA: I should have made myself more clear. I thought it went without saying that, of course, All of us would love to have a home-and-home "elite" matchup (Michigan, Texas, USC, FSU, OhioSt, etc)...but those "elite" OOC matchups are rare, for obvious reasons. We will only see LSU schedule an elite OOC about once every 3-5 years or so.
The list I compiled above are the more recurring mid-level OOC opponents (that also happen to be cool cities/destinations). Typically, we're going to play a mid-level OOC team once per season (someone on the level of Arizona, Louisville, Washington, NorthCarolina, Maryland, TexasTech, OregonSt, etc). The point being we are going to see many more of these "mid-level" games than we are the "elite" games.
Make no mistake...I certainly would not rather see LSU at Rutgers than LSU at Michigan....But I think there's a lot more possibilities and it's a lot more realistic to look at the "mid-level" possible OOC games since there are a lot more of those games that will be on future LSU schedules than elite matchups.

Are you huffing gasoline?
Why in the world would LSU ever play @ UNLV?

I'm sure LSU playing in a 38,000 seat stadium is a dream for most fans.

We did in basketball in the early 90's.

2-for-1....they come here twice for our one trip there. And the one trip there would be basically to give our fans an awesome road trip one year.
I know it won't happen, I'm just saying it would be awesome if we ever did play @UNLV.
LSU football + Vegas = Heaven IMO

Thought this was a basketball thread at first.

Dude, get off the crack.....Hawaii, you think LSU would go to Hawaii with such a huge time differance and amount of travel time, to come back and have to play a game the next weekend? Not one game on that list would make sense... Other than maybe UCLA...

Besides Hawaii, how are any of the others different from VaTech or Washington or ArizonaSt?
We've played road OOC games before, we will certainly play OOC road games again... I'm just suggesting cool destinations to see LSU schedule in the future.

Someone would die. It's too dangerous to simultaneously unleash that many LSU fans on a twenty-four hour a day gambling, drinking, and orgy mecca.

Because all of those school would have a legit chance at beating us. UNLV would have absolutely no chance of beating so why would we want a home and home with a "rent-a-win" team? Do you think we are going to return the favor and make a trip up to Idaho in the near future? Or how about Towson?

UCLA/Rutgers/BC/Northwestern have no better chance of beating us than Washington in 2009. All mid-level so-so teams IMO.
Nonetheless, I think it would be cool for LSU to play in some of those cities at some point. I think LSU fans would enjoy those destinations, like we did Seattle.
We've played OOC road games before, and we will certainly play OOC road games again. I'm just pointing out a few of the destinations that I'd like to see LSU have a road game at some point.

I completely agree with you that it would be a fun road trip to go to LV for a game, but I was just commenting on the fact that there is no chance of it happening. I went to LV for the Ole Miss game last year and I am going for the Ole Miss game this year as well.

I've actually imagined what our fans would do if we ever played at BYU. I think that scenario is even more unpredictable.
