He was a decent high school football player. He wasn't great. It only seemed that way because we had nobody else at the time. Let it go.

This is where I don't understand baseball..why would you ever consider trading ZL for washed up Demptster.

Dodgers are playing for this year...Dempster provides them with a pretty damn good pitcher (ERA is like 1.86) that can contribute right now and help them get into the playoffs. Lee won't be any help for the big team for a couple seasons. I am a huge Cubs fan, so seeing him in Cubbie Blue is a good alternative to PnG to me

They aren't. There is absolutely no way the Cubs get Lee for anyone on their roster.

this hurt PM more than it hurt the football team. I think ZM is a much better QB prospect than Lee was. I was also never a big fan of having your potential starting qb pulling double duty.
