like Spec's
how do you find out when and what new offerings they will have at a particular time?
i've heard employees talking about waiting lines for certain beers, but i've never asked them how the people know about the release and location(s)

Facebook and Twitter are good places to start. Other times stores will have email blasts.

In some places, the distributors have a website or facebook page that up dates new releases. I really wish we had that here in louisiana.

Usually the brewer....for instance, the St Arnold's Divine Reserve #12 comes out this Thursday.

Meet the liquor/beer manager and ask him.

Beeradvocate has a releases board.
Stuff will usially release somewhere before it hits us, but its a good way to know whats coming up and ask the manager when they think it'll be in.
On your next beer haul ($100+ at your local store) talk to the beer manager about new/upcoming releases even if you dont have one in mind. Do this after you've loaded your cart up a good way.

Good advice

Actually, it doesn't release until July 31st. It will be an Old Ale.

Has it really been a year since #11 came out?
Seems so much longer than that for some reason.

Played around with the map a little. Bells in Arizona?

You're right. #11 was released last March, so it will be over 16 months. I guess they have been busy releasing Pumpkinator and Endeavor.

Oh hell I wasn't calling you out or anything just saying that it feels like a long arse time since DR 11 came out.

Mmmmmm, DR #11... I might just have another one for IPA day. Or maybe that was my last one at the Craft Beer Week tasting. I can't ever remember.

Speaking of new releases; i went to calandro's yesterday and they have reorganized and added a few beers. They have a good mix of Clown Shoes beers (i picked up muffin top) now over there. I'd say about 6 different kinds.
Also, i noticed a long row on the shelf that was empty. Not sure what is going there, but when i looked around, i noticed there was no Stone anywhere on display, other than the bombers near the cooler. This could possible be an expansion to their Stone supply or maybe add a few new beers.

Lagunitas is still supposed to be coming soon... in theory. Did they have a lot of the Green Flash in stock? Might have been making room for another shipment of it.

Not really. All they have is hop head red and double stout. And that was on the shelf with the American craft brews (the smaller shelf behind you). Since it was out, i don't see that they will be putting it there, but you never know. Seeing that the other stores (marcello's, cuban liquor) have at least 4 types of green flash, it would make sense to get the others.
