had a bbq at my friends house today

after we finished off a couple of wings and thighs, this dude starts breaking the bones with his teeth and scraping out the bone marrow and eating it. weirdest shite i've ever seen

he tried to defend himself by saying he liked the taste and said it was good for you

I read this as "donate bone marrow"

Imagine my surprise when the body of the post started to read a little weird.

You really need to eat Osso Buco (braised veal shanks). The best part of it is eating the marrow out of the bone.

I have seen people eat what looked like beef bone marrow at some snazzy french resturants...supposed to be excellent, but I don't think I would have the stomach for it...

Know how I know you're black.

But seriously, lots of people eat it and it's a pretty normal thing.

Marrow is fantastic as an ingredient or on its own.

Have you really never heard of this before? Where do you eat out? Applebees and Golden Corral?

When i worked for Willy Coln, customers would request the marrow from his veal shank dish. It was really good.
