Axford has turned to shite, but I think he's only making half a million this year. No long term contract yet.

The bullpen is the biggest reason this season has been a shite sandwich.

Time to put K Rod in at closer. Neither he not Ax can pitch clean innings, but at least he pitches to avoid contact.

There's no reason to keep Greinke around if your bullpen can't finish games.

Fuuuuck no

I'm not a Greinke fan, personally.

And I wouldn't deal Marte for a two month rental.

Should have kept him, but I understand the concern of wanting to give an old releiver a new contract.

He's making the start for Greinke on Wednesday I think.

Who knows what will happen by the trade deadline. That might be his future spot in the rotation. Marcum won't be back until September either

Rain delay in Denver with two on and one out in the top of the 9th with the Pirates trailing 4-1. I've never seen a rain delay with two outs left in the game.

After 40 minutes, play resumed. First pitch, Alvarez opposite field 3 run bomb!

Tie Game, 4-4.
