I thought it was pretty damn funny.

My wife and I loved it.

I laughed maybe twice. But then again, I hate Family Guy.

That's exaggerated, but I saw it this weekend and it's definitely legit funny. And there were a lot more funny parts than just the previews (which people were worried about before it came out).

I'd definitely recommend it, but it's certainly not in "funniest movie ever" territory for me.

If you hate Family Guy, why would you even consider going to a movie by Seth MacFarlane?

And for the record, I thought Ted was hilarious.

Lots of laughs, I enjoyed it a great deal. Would highly recommend.

On a side note: Two upstanding citizens brought their infant child into the showing I went to.

I know its Rated R and all but would you allow a 15 or 16 yr old to watch this or am I just being a little over protective?

I wouldn't say is the funniest movie I have ever seen, but I did really like it.

I'm not a family guy hater, but I don't watch it anymore.

There are some FG qualities to it like the cut-a-ways and tons of 80s references.

This is why I haven't seen it yet. I will NOT be that guy.

I'm not a family guy fan anymore and I still enjoyed Ted.

There are a few jokes that i personally groaned at that were very family guy-esque ... (as in random interchangeable joke that doesn't fit in with the plot at all.)

But on the whole an enjoyable flick.

Actually, aside from Sm himself, I don't really see a connection between Ted and FG. Two completely different settings and different humor. IMO if your reason for not liking it has anything to do with FG, then you went into it not wanting to like it.

Dude, there were lots of kids in my showing as well. Not only were there a group of young teens in there (couldn't have been older than 14 or 15), but one lady was in there with her what looked to be about 8/9 year old daughter. I wanted to ask her what she thought her kid's favorite part was...the cock jokes, the language, the tits, etc.

I saw it. I hate family guy. I thought it was funny, but DEFINITELY not as funny as people are making it out to be. Too much terrible fart humor and stuff like that. But it is funny.

And we had multiple kids in our theater. So much so that we had to ask if we were in the right line. I couldn't believe these people.

Ted was such a brilliant character, he's got so many great lines.

And I love the Airplane reference.

I like family guy but thought Ted struggled a bit. I was amazed to see the ratings on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes after seeing the movie. Id give a 5/10.

The wife and I saw it yesterday and we both thought it was great. She actually thought it was hilarious and she hates movies like that. I found myself laughing very steadily for a while. I wouldn't say it was the funniest movie of all time, but it was definitely the funniest one of this year (so far).
