I don't get the Moore hate. For Your Eyes Only, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Man With the Golden Gun are good movies. They weren't all masterpieces but neither was Thunderball.

Goldeneye was my first and favorite bond movie.... Never cared much for the others

Agree and disagree, I remember walking out of goldeneye with a feeling similar to that of casino royale, but the final two brosnan films were definitely the nail in the coffin

I agree. My problem with Moore, though, is that he was too old. He was 46 when he started and almost 60 when he finished! He is older than Connery.

Roger moore was hands down the quentissential bond. he IS Bond. there will never be another actor who can play that roll better.
