If Shawn muscles up Kongo like Barry did and finishes.....he should cement himself as an upcoming heavyweight.

What a shitty looking card.

That card is garbage. Should be shown on Fox at best. No way in hell I'm paying for that shite.
Posted on 7/15/12 at 7:58 pm to USMC Gators
It was absolutely stacked. Went from Aldo fighting for the belt as the Main Event, to Faber fighting for some imaginary interim belt. Oh well, should be some exciting fights regardless (I'll still watch), and now the Fox and some of the other cards later in the year will be a little deeper

The whole card was decimated by injuries, but all the fights on the main card should be pretty good. I'd like to see Ebersole get another win and really curious how Lombard does in the UFC. Pulling for Boetsch, but he will probably get destroyed.
Eta: here's a short article on all the changes. Uncle Dana calls it the most injury-riddled card in UFC history. That's saying a lot

Did anyone see Strikeforce last night. Nate Marquardt looked great after his long layoff. Luke Rockhold is no joke either. Cant wait until SF folds and the good fighters come over to the UFC.

I believe Zuffa owns Strikeforce now. I see it as a minor league to UFC similar to WEC.

That knock out last night was absolutely beautiful. Marquardt fricking posterized Woodley.
Btw, that picture of Jordan next to Browne only further shows why Jordan needs to make a push for LHW.

Yeah, Zuffa owns SF but has to fulfill the contract with Showtime, then I believe they are going to fold the SF brand.

Terrible card. I might watch for Shawn Jordan and Lombard UFC debut.

Shawn played at LSU, so I'm excited to watch that fight. Just messing with you. It is a POS of a card
