I have heard an incredible personal story about Lane Kiffin in regards to recruiting (from back when he was at Tennessee). Let's just say... it was odd. But something seems to be working so far at USC.

If people think he is a jerk, that's probably his fault. He's probably done something to contribute to that perception people have of him. He's got time to change peoples attitudes towards him, if that's something he wants to do.

I don't know Lane Kiffin so I can't comment on whether or not he is a jerk, he comes off as one often though.
I do know he is obviously self involved
bailing on UT was a pretty shitty thing to do
He is recruiting exceptionally but c'mon, he's at USC
He isn't a top 5 coach in the country
his wife is smoking hot

Yea I'd say most successful college coaches are pretty self involved, he just seems to be more so than most

Lane Kiffin is a douche, will always he a douche that was put in positions he didn't deserve.
I don't give a shite about his wife, she's probably a big dumb arse, and when she gets old and gray (if he sticks with her that long), she's going to be the most annoying piece of shite ever.
