Only player from last season that I haven't heard from is WorldsGreatest. He's been active on the boards here lately and I've sent multiple emails to him. He's got less than 4 hours as of now to let me know if he's in for this season.

Yall start thinking about this GoatMilker dude from Saints Talk. I told him that he's "1st alternate" to get in the league if we have any openings. Seems like a pretty active member of Saints Talk. In fact, it seems that's the ONLY board he posts on.

[7/12/12 Update]

Proposed Settings and Points Rules Changes:

1. Upping the buy in from $25 to $50

2. Changing payout options if raising the buy in is agreed upon...
- Payout options: (with 12 teams)
- 3 ways - $400, $150, $50 or $450, $100, $50
- 2 ways - $400, $200 or $450, $150 or $500, $100
- Obviously 1 way gets $600

3. Drop 1 BENCH spot from rosters (from 6 to 5)

4. Remove 1 mandatory RB position and make it a RB/WR position (currently have 2 mandatory + 1 flex RB/WR/TE)

5. Remove the current flex spot AND 1 bench spot

6. Change Passing Yards to 1 point per 25 (currently 1 point per 15)

7. Change Passing TDs to 4 points (Currently 6 points)

8. An option to #'s 6 & 7 above: Make league a PPR League? (It's either this OR 6 & 7. Not BOTH)

9. Negative points?

10. Switching the website from NFL.com to ESPN or Yahoo or (insert website here)?

Since that "other" league started one I figured I'd start mine also...

For anyone on this list:


You have first rights to your team this season, obviously. I've already sent out a league-wide email to all who played last season. Please reply by the date stated in that email or you will lose your team.

Stonedbegonias and Touchdown Moses have already replied and are in. I'd honestly like to cut this down to a 10 team league too. 12 teams makes it ridiculous to find decent free agent talent.

If anyone other members have anything else they'd like to discuss (i.e. rule changes, scoring changes, etc...) please feel free to post here or email me.

Last year the buy in was $25. I split it 3 ways though. Winner took $200, 2nd place took $75 and 3rd got their money back($25). I was thinking of seeing if the league would be interested in raising the buy in. Maybe to $30 or $35... Make a few extra dollas, ya herd?

Of course that would be put to a league vote though.
