I like it. Voodoo and Brass are the only ones I've heard that I've really liked. Pelicans was the only other one at least acceptable to me.

I'd rather Brass.. Voodoo seems like it's trying to hard. Voodoo is perfect for an AFL team, not a NBA team IMO

I will never understand why people like Pelicans for a name. It sounds so...weak, for lack of a better term right now.
When thinking of professional teams with avian mascots names like Ravens, Eagles, Hawks come to mind. Pelicans just doesn't belong in that group imo. We may as well be the New Orleans Chickens. And if we're gonna do that, let's just go all the way and be the Chicken & Biscuits.

Its a good name for a baseball team, not sure about a basketball team-
