I'd pull Downing put in Borini and run two strikers with him and Sturridge. Have Cous in the hole then Gerrard, Henderson & Lucas as the midfielders.

Suarez needs to tuck his teeth into his mouth

Not good if Agger is actually hurt

We have looked today like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. Awkward and bad. We VERY MUCH LACK CREATIVITY WITHOUT SUÁREZ in the squad.

This is a snooze fest...something needs to happen or this may go down as one of the more boring games Ive watched in a while

Fellaini is so fricking dirty

Coutinho is so good with the ball at his feet

I'm getting so tired of watching Enrique lose possession time and time again
Posted on 5/5/13 at 9:22 am to tsmi136
Enrique worst player on any pitch in England today. Good fricking god. Performances like that make me never want to see him in a Red shirt again.

Agreed. That was weak. I really don't think I can't say we actually deserved a goal today well save maybe Cous.
ETA: Is Newcastle really that bad???

That one cross was nice, but he is easily the most frustrating player on the team...
When he takes off on one of his runs, I get the same feeling that I have when the other team has a corner... probably not ending well..
His strength and recovery speed while defending are his only good attributes...

I would gladly trade him for Leighton Baines.

In short, yes. Everton's back line played excellently though. Give them credit. We only had 2 or 3 decent opportunities.

Man, this next matchup makes me wanna
Not sure if I will subject myself to watch it...
yeah, I thought Daniel had a decent game just needs to be a little more ruthless...like he's playing City or Chelsea... Cou had his moments, but this was always a tough match up for him...

Everton will always be a terrible matchup for us as long as Rodgers is the manager. They play such shite football.

They really did play well and not just the back four but the whole team made the whole game uneasy for us and they seemed to make us make bad decisions with the pressure on the ball. As a whole they got us out of our game almost from square one essentially winning the match before it even started.
We really need to add more players with the creativity to play the way BR wants too because just having Suárez & Cous is not going to cut.
I am more interested to see what we do this off season in the transfer market than anything else.
